Isaiah 60:1 TLB: “Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you.”
Darkness is for lying down; light is for rising up. Darkness is for gloom and sleep; light is for shining. Since believers have been filled with the light of Jesus, it’s time to shine! After all, he said, “I am the light of the world!”
It’s the first new day of a new year. What better time to let your light shine?
