John 1:51 NLT: “Then Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man, the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.”

When we die and as we move from this reality to the next, we want to transition from living on earth to living with the Lord in heaven. But earth is ‘here,’ and heaven is ‘there,’ and on our own it’s not quite clear how to get ‘there.’

We need a partner, someone to help us get there. Jesus is the answer. Here he gives us the perfect analogy. Jesus calls himself a ‘stairway,’ a connector of this reality with the next, a bridge between this life and the afterlife. With Jesus, we can get ‘there.’

Jesus, the connector, gives us hope of seeing heaven from the inside!
