For Saturday, March 4, 2023:
Matthew 9:29 NLT: “Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, ‘Because of your faith, it will happen.’”
Jesus was becoming known for his ability to heal. Two blind men followed him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” They even followed him into the house where he was staying!
Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?”
"Yes, Lord. We do!”
"Because of your faith, it will happen.” And with one touch, their sight was restored! On the surface this story seems to be about healing and restoration, but the underlying lesson here is about faith. You see, we all need healing from our life full of missteps, and restoration is offered through faith in Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God! Faith is the key, believing that Jesus was who he said he was, and that he can do for us what he said he said he could do. He will cleanse believers of their sins and prepare a place for them in heaven, in the eternal presence of the Father! Be one of the believers!
Because of our faith, we can ALL be healed!
