Enduring to the End!

For Saturday, March 11, 2023:

Matthew 10:22 NLT, Jesus speaking: “All nations will hate you because you are my followers. But everyone who endures to the end will be saved.”

We must remember that this has been true throughout history. Entire cultures have hated Jesus and his followers. After all, the country where Jesus had been casting out demons, healing people and raising the dead shouted, “Crucify him!” It makes no sense! There’s just no accounting for some people’s bad decisions and mob mentality.

But Jesus points us to the light at the end of the tunnel. Those with unwavering faith will share in eternal rest with the Father in Heaven. Loyal believers have assurance of salvation. Jesus cautions us against giving up when the going gets rough.

The reward is worth our effort!
