Romans 6:5 NLT, Paul speaking: “Since we have been united with Christ in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.”
Christians are said to have Jesus living in their hearts. When a believer joins with Christ, an unbreakable bond is formed. Just as Christ died to the world through crucifixion and then was resurrected, so our old nature passes away when we are reborn as followers of Jesus, and we too will be resurrected!
Jesus ascended to the Father, going first to prepare a place for us. This promise assures believers of eternity in the heavenly Kingdom in the presence of the Father! Mankind couldn’t get there on our own, but Jesus has us covered. We have a lot of hope!
If this were not true, Jesus said he would have told us!
