May 13, 2024 Monday Message:
Psalm 96:2 NLT: “Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.”
Gods of other nations are mere idols. They can accomplish nothing. Our God created the universe and everything in it! God’s desire for us is that none would perish; that none would be lost to Satan.
Our God starts with love and forgiveness. Everyone who repents, returns to the Lord and claims the name of Jesus becomes a child of God, adopted into the Holy Family!
2,000 years ago, it was taught that most gods were ferocious and vindictive. If mankind didn’t toe the line, the prevailing thinking was that god would put his foot down, and mankind would be in a big bunch of trouble!
But that’s not the case with our God! The last two lines of today’s scripture tell us that God saves! That’s incredible, unheard of heretofore! Jesus is the Good News everybody is talking about! Remember to praise God daily, so that the Good News is front-of-mind!
