For Friday, September 2, 2022:
Philippians 1:27 NLT, Paul writing: “Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.”
Believers already have a place in heaven. Jesus went ahead to confirm your reservation. When you pass from this reality to the next, Jesus will welcome you with open arms. He’s been expecting you!
Therefore we should no longer live like people of this world. We’ve been shown a better way with Jesus as our example. He wants all the believers working together, being of one mind, to carry the Good News to all nations!
Doing the Lord’s work should fill us with joy!
