September 5, 2022 Monday Message:
Romans 7:4 NLT: “So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with the one who was raised from the dead. As a result, we can produce a harvest of good deeds for God.”
Mankind was never successful at keeping the Law. So God provided a better solution. Jesus came to earth to prepay the penalty for our sins, making us suitable for residence in the kingdom. The old Law, the Law given to Moses, is no longer relevant for those who trust Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives.
So now you’re on the team! You’re in the game! You’ve been adopted into the Holy Family! Jesus has taken you under his wing and granted you Assurance of Salvation. He has gone ahead to prepare your place in heaven.
Christians are known for their kindness and good works. Every time there’s a disaster somewhere in the world, it’s always Christians who are first on the scene. But it’s important to remember that we serve not to earn our way into heaven. We serve out of gratitude for what Jesus did – our redemption! Thank you Jesus!
Ps. 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days o my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord – forever!” Amen!
