Revelation 21:4 CJB: “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will no longer be any death; and there will no longer be any mourning, crying or pain; because the old order has passed away.”
See? I told you that better days were coming! Our loving God is the architect of the New Heaven and the New Earth, where he promises no more death, no more illness or disease, no more pain and suffering, and no reason to cry. Those things will be gone forever – the old order has passed away!
In the new order, God’s home will be among his people. He will live with them, and they will be his people. God is speaking like he is proud of all this: “Look, I am making everything new!” And He said, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” God said so, so we can count on it!
Everything’s better when God has his hand in it!
