Eternal God!

May 3, 2021 Monday Message

Psalm 102:12 ERV: “But you, Lord, will rule as king forever! Your name will continue forever and ever!”

My parents took me to church every week, so when I needed to define my own God-concept, I had a solid starting point. But nowadays we’re faced with a lot of unchurched people in our neighborhoods. Their parents never taught them the basics of religion, so they have no place to start.

I like to begin with creation. When you seriously compare Divine inspiration vs random coincidence, God makes a lot of sense. God is all-powerful. He existed before any of the world as we know it, and he’ll still be on the throne when this all passes away. God is perpetual, and that gives us eternal hope!

I believe we have a benevolent Creator who saw everything and declared it to be very good! Jesus loves us, and so does his Father! His desire is that none would perish, but that all would repent and return. God loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus to make our homecoming possible. God wants everything to go well, and wants to see each of us in the life after this life!

Jesus went on ahead to prepare a place for us. If you’re a believer, there’s a room in heaven with your name on the door!

Blessings and safety to all!
