For Thursday, October 13, 2022:
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NLT: “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
We are saved through our faith in God’s Son, Jesus the Messiah. Similarly, God is faithful to believers. God’s desire is that none would perish, that all would repent and return to him. He sent Jesus to redeem us from our sin problem, so that heaven could be possible.
Our faith may grow weaker and then again stronger over time. After all, we’re only human. But God’s devotion to all who believe is steadfast. David writes that his God is solid like a rock, never-changing, the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. God is faithful to the end!
God will keep believers in the palm of his hand. He doesn’t want to lose you twice!
