Psalm 77:13 NLT: “O God, your ways are holy. Is there any god as mighty as you?”
The psalmist was writing based on knowledge at the time. Back then, people would bow to made-up gods. They’d keep statuettes of these pretend gods in their homes, thinking they offered protection and prosperity. Jesus taught us that was all wrong!
Believers now know that there is only one God, made known to us in three forms: God-the-Father who sits on the throne of heaven; Jesus, who walked on earth alongside mankind; and the Holy Spirit, our advocate and helper until Jesus returns. Knowing there is really only one God focuses our hope!
Our God, the creator and intelligent designer, is the only God!
