Matthew 12:21 NLT, Prophecy about the Messiah: “And his name (Jesus) will be the hope of all the world.”
Life is complicated. People often look for that one thing that could make it all better. The Good News is that we can stop looking! The Bible assures us that Jesus is the hope for all the world! We have found hope!
When the conspirators hung Jesus on the cross, they wanted to end all enthusiasm for following him. But even going to the place of the dead, Jesus was still part of God’s vast eternal plan. He took the sins of the world to that place of the dead, leaving the believers as suitable candidates for heavenly residence. Jesus rose from the dead, a feat that could not be ignored. The number of Christians increased by leaps and bounds, and today we are part of a world-wide community of 2 billion who proudly call themselves Christians, the largest religion in the world!
Jesus is the light of the world, and the hope of the world!
