Pray to God!

Matthew 6:6 NLT, Jesus speaking: “When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.”

With Jesus, we no longer need a priest to intercede on our behalf. You don’t even have to be a part of a group. You can take your prayer concerns, go off by yourself and pray directly to God-the-Father.

Thinking of God as “Our Father” was a new concept. At that time, people thought God was formidable. But Jesus is teaching us that God is loving, forgiving and cares deeply about each one of us. God wants a relationship with us. God wants us to include Him in our daily lives

Paul taught the Ephesians to, "Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
