Judgement!

For Friday, June 14, 2024:

1 Peter 2:12 NLT: “Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.”

God is honorable, and if we’re “people of God,” we should be just as honorable as our our leader. Someday we will have to answer as to how we lived our lives here on earth. It’s called judgement. I hear people speak of dying and going to heaven. But they tend to leave out the judgement part.

Everyone will have to account their time spent here on earth. We’re here for a limited amount of time, and God wants us to make the most out of every minute! Time is passing by, each moment never to be seen again. God has a purpose in setting us down here, and life’s better if you’re in the game!

Ask yourself, “What would God have me do today?”
