Luke 18:17 NIV, Jesus speaking: “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
Childlike innocence; childlike naïveté – that’s how Jesus says we need to be as we enter Heaven. Our minds will be filled with what we need at just the right time, and all we really need is faith that it will be so.
God didn’t make salvation difficult. While it’s good to learn as much as we can about God, Jesus and the Bible, we can’t intellectualize our way into heaven. Remember salvation is a free gift; we’re saved by grace because of our faith in Jesus.
We have eternal hope regardless of our intellectual prowess!
