Psalms 130:7 TLB: “O Israel, hope in the Lord; for he is loving and kind and comes to us with armloads of salvation.”
Our hope rests in the character of God, and this verse sums it up! Like the song says, “Jesus loves me,” and he truly loves ALL the people of God. The Lord is kind and caring, and his desire is that no one would perish. Therefore God provides a means of salvation.
As a major plank in his Vast Eternal Plan platform, God sent his Son Jesus to redeem mankind. Jesus took the sins of the world to the place of the dead, thereby leaving the faithful people of God spotless, suitable to spend eternity in the presence of the God the Father.
The God of salvation offers as much redemption as mankind needs.
