Psalm 119:49 NLT: “Lord, remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.”
In God’s vast eternal plan, our time here on earth is quite brief. It would behoove us to not be as concerned with life on this planet, and concentrate more on long-range planning.
God promised that everyone who calls Jesus ‘Lord’ would have a place in the eternal kingdom. So set your eyes on that prize. A hundred years from now, when you’re living in the presence of God, our earthly frustrations will seem quite silly!
God, in his wisdom, promised believers a splendiferous future. We anticipate quite a glorious life after this life, and that gives us a lot of hope!
