Psalm 119:17 CEV: “Treat me with kindness, Lord, so that I may live and do what you say.”
This scripture describes ‘circular’ adoration. God treats us with kindness; therefore we honor Him by fulfilling his commands. Because we honor and worship Him, God will show us even more kindness, to which we respond with more gratitude. It’s a good circle in which to be caught up!
God is God, and we are not and never will be. But our God is loving and benevolent. He desires to be in a relationship with us. He likes it when we call out to him, when we do life together.
Include God in your life today, and you’ll also find hope!
