Ecclesiastes 11:4 TLB: “If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done.”
If a farmer waits for ideal conditions, he'll never get a crop planted, and there will be no harvest. If a coach waits until the entire team is in top condition, they'll never play a game. Pursuit of "perfect" may be an excuse for procrastination!
The Bible tells us to get started – get in the game. Do your best, and trust in the Lord for the rest. "Keep on sowing your seed, for you never know which will grow—perhaps it all will."
Don't wait to lock-in your committment to Jesus, and don't wait to help out at your church. Everything may not be perfect, and it may never be perfect. But if we wait for "perfect," no one will ever hear the Good News of mankind's redemption because of the work Jesus did on the cross!
Plant eternal hope regardless of the current conditions!
