Faith = Hope!

Mark 5:34 CEV: “Jesus said to the woman, 'You are now well because of your faith. May God give you peace! You are healed, and you will no longer be in pain.'”

Jesus had become well-known for healing people, and he was happy to help out. This poor woman had been suffering for a dozen years. Now in Jesus' day, it was considered inappropriate for a woman to approach a man and start a conversation. But her faith in Jesus' healing ability was so great, she believed if she could only touch his robe she would be healed. And it happened just like that!

Jesus looked into the incident, and told her, “Your faith has made you whole!” And that healing further increased her faith. If faith in Jesus could make her well again, increased faith could shower all manner of goodness into her life! She was not only healed; she was given hope for the future!

Our faith in Jesus can also give US hope for the future!
