Matthew
11:28 NLT, Jesus speaking: “Come to
me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
If
there’s chaos in our lives, we don’t have to fight it alone. God is on our
side, and Jesus is in our corner. If we’re tired and all run down from life’s
problems, Jesus says, “Come to me.”
For
God, there’s more than just seeing us again in heaven. He also wants to help us
get there, which means intervening in our difficult situations. God doesn’t just
stand on the sidelines watching us struggle with our problems. God gets right to
work; he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty. After all, when the world was a
mess, God dropped his Son right in the midst of people who needed a Savior!
God
is still in control, and he will rescue us. Our God never says, “You’re on your
own!” Instead he says, “Come to me – I can help!” Isn’t it good to know that
the creator of the universe is our advocate during our time on earth!
Blessings
and safety to all today!
