Psalm 119:32 GNT: “I will eagerly obey your commands, O Lord, because you will give me more understanding.”
Acquiring knowledge is incremental. We oftentimes top off our previous foundation by adding new wisdom. Think of your education as being cumulative.
Here’s an example: When students enter elementary school, many are just learning their numbers. With that skill, they first learn addition, and then subtraction. Then using those acquired skills, they can move on to multiplication and long division.
The same thing applies to learning about God. We start with a solid foundation. But as we attend church, study our Bibles and hang out with Christian friends, our knowledge increases – it accumulates, and day by day we learn more and more about God and his Son Jesus. And that’s what God wants – a relationship with us!
Enjoying a close relationship with the Lord leads to hope!
Blessings to all!
