Redeemer!

For Tuesday, May 3, 2022:

Romans 3:20 NLT: “No one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.”

We try to obey God’s law, to avoid sin, but sooner or later we make a mistake. Regrettably, we get something wrong. But we’re not alone! The Bible says that ALL have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory!

That’s why we needed a Redeemer, a Savior. God loves us unconditionally, forgivingly, like a parent loves a child. So he sent his Son Jesus to pay the price for our sins, to give mankind a fresh start. We put our faith, hope and trust in him!

It was God who wanted to make sure he’d see us again!

Savior of All!

May 2, 2022 Monday Message:

Romans 2:26 NLT: “If the Gentiles obey God’s law, won’t God declare them to be his own people?”

The Bible says that Jesus, the Messiah, the Savior, would come to us through the Jews. But his salvation is for ALL the world, all who believe! If you have faith that Jesus is the Son of God and that he can do what he promised, you’re one of the believers, and Jesus has reserved a spot for you in heaven!

We tend to put people into groups, but Paul said, “There is no longer slave and free, Greeks and Jews, or for that matter male and female.” Our Creator loves everything he made, and his desire is that none would perish. His Son came to earth to take care of our sin problem, because God wants to see all of us once again!

Believers will see each other in the next reality! Believers will see the Lord in the next reality!

Faith Recharge!

For Sunday, May 1, 2022:

Romans 1:17 NLT: “This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

In many churches, the phrase, “Saved by grace through faith,” just rolls off the tongue. It’s really the center-point of a Christian’s salvation. Eternal salvation – being redeemed by Christ – is a free gift we cannot earn or pay for. That Jesus would rescue us is not because of anything we did!

Therefore we put our faith in Jesus, both in who he is and in what he did for mankind. Sometimes we need a “faith recharge,” and that’s available at your local church! See you there!

The righteous will live by faith! So never give up, and never get discouraged. In the end, God always wins!
