For Saturday, May 30, 2026:
Colossians 1:21 NLT: “God made peace with you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions.”
The Hebrew language often describes a person’s character in terms of their closeness to God. If someone is sinning, they are said to be far from God. If that person changes their ways and repents, they are said to be closer to God.
Be at peace with your God. It’s the easier, safer road, and you’ll smile more
