Daily Bible!

November 17, 2025, Monday Message:

Luke 21:37-38 NLT: “Every day Jesus went to the Temple to teach, and each evening he returned to spend the night on the Mount of Olives. The crowds gathered at the Temple early each morning to hear him.”

Jesus knew his end was drawing near, the betrayal, being arrested and eventually crucifixion. But he didn’t give up. It wasn’t time to take a break. He established a routine so that those who wanted to learn the truth could count on his daily teaching.

Like many Galileans visiting Jerusalem for Passover, Jesus made Mount Olivet his living headquarters. The Temple was his daily teaching venue. He would arrive early, and people would gather early as no one wanted to miss a thing. This was surprising as Jesus wasn’t favored by the Pharisees. They accused him (wrongly) of heresy, but of course, Jesus only taught truth. The Temple was one of the most visited places in Jerusalem, and Jesus taught there openly. You can teach publicly when you’re teaching truth. No need to hide out.

Like those visiting the Temple, we should all get up early, spend time with Jesus and see what he has to say. Open your Bibles and read HIs words. I know a couple of pastors who teach, “No Bible, no breakfast.” That’s not just a good idea. It’s what Jesus did!
