Galatians 6:9 NLT: “Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”
We reap what we sow, meaning we get out of life what we put in. If we expect a nice harvest, a big reward in the end, we must plant our seeds carefully and tend our garden diligently. This isn’t about ‘works,’ but rather about giving back out of gratitude for the promised reward of eternal salvation.
If we’re truly committed to the Lord, we should also pray for patience. Just as crops don’t mature right away, so our efforts for the Lord require time to come to fruition. Don’t lose heart! The “Blessed Assurance” of the reward of salvation fills us with hope eternal!
Blessings to all today!
